The Texas Rangers capped a miraculous postseason run (they didn't lose a game on the road!) to win the 2023 World Series. But it's the Los Angeles Dodgers who now enter as the favorite to take the title in 2024 after Shohei Ohtani agreed to a massive $700M deal.

The Dodgers are listed as +550 at ESPN BET, with the Atlanta Braves having the next-shortest odds at +650. The Houston Astros, New York Yankees, Toronto Blue Jays and Rangers are all tied for the third-shortest odds at 9-1 and the Philadelphia Phillies are 10-1. The reigning NL champion Arizona Diamondbacks head into the offseason at 25-1 to win next year's World Series.

The Yankees made the first big splash of the offseason when they acquired Juan Soto, shortening their odds from 15-1 to 17-2, behind only the Braves and Dodgers, while the San Diego Padres saw their odds plummet from 16-1 to 30-1 following the trade.
